ISLAMABAD : Prime Minister Imran Khan today paid a brief visit to the Digital Media Wing of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry also accompanied the Prime Minister on the occasion. Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry briefed the Prime Minister regarding the digitization policy. Under this integrated policy, national broadcasters will be gradually digitized.
The Prime Minister was informed that 11 digital media centers of APP equipped with modern facilities are being set up in different cities across the country. The Prime Minister’s Focal Person for Digital Media Dr. Arsalan Khalid, General Manager Digital Media Wing Imran Ghazali and other wing officials briefed Prime Minister Imran Khan on the performance of the digital media wing.
Prime Minister Imran Khan lauded the performance of the Digital Media Wing in projecting a positive image of Pakistan on the world stage.
