Publication of Messages of the President, Prime Minister and Minister for Human Rights on the occasion of Universal Children’s Day, 20th November, 2020

The undersigned is directed to say that Universal Children Day (UCD) is celebrated as an annual feature throughout the World on 20th November to take stock of efforts and action undertaken for ensuring survival, protection and development of children. The celebration of the day is a source of encouragement for children and re-affirmation of our commitment under the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) ratified by Pakistan in 1990. On this occasion, the messages from the President, Prime Minister and Minister for Human Rights have been approved.
2. In view of the above, the Press Information Department is requested to forward the above approved messages to the Daily News Papers for Publication on 20th November, 2020
