Punjab government decides to open schools in 16 cities but announces ban in Lahore, important news for parents

LAHORE : The Punjab government has announced to open public and private schools from May 24 in 16 districts with less than 5% corona cases, for which a notification has also been issued.
According to the notification of Punjab Education Department, all public and private schools will be opened in 16 districts of Punjab from May 24 with the ban of Corona SOPs. The districts in which schools will be opened include Bahawalnagar, Chakwal, Chiniot, Hafizabad, Jhang. , Jhelum, Kasur, Mandi Bahauddin, Nankana Sahib, Narowal, Pakpattan, Rajanpur, Sahiwal, Sheikhupura, Sialkot and Vehari while schools in other districts of Punjab including Lahore will remain closed. Schools will be open 4 days a week and one student will come to school for 2 days.
