ISLAMABAD : Punjab Government Servants Housing Foundation has become an obstacle in the way of the New Pakistan Housing Project Rawalpindi’s supply of NOC to allottee raised fears of the cancellation of the new Pakistan housing loan.
The loan approved by a private bank for construction under the Prime Minister’s Program My Home, My Pakistan fell into disrepair due to the stubbornness and irresponsible behavior of the Punjab Government Servants Housing Foundation.
If the NOC of the owned plot is not submitted within a week, the approved loan will be canceled. AllotteeAbdul Majeed of Punjab Government Servants Housing Foundation, Adiala Road, Rawalpindi, resident of Tinch Bhatta, Rawalpindi, said that under the Prime Minister’s New Pakistan Housing Program, he was transferred from a private bank to Punjab Government Servants Housing Foundation (PGSHF). A loan of Rs. 18 lakh was sanctioned in principle for the construction of a house on Plot No. 360-D in Rawalpindi.
Following the legal opinion, it was asked to provide various required documents before payment, including the issuance of NOC by the society for taking the plot into the custody of the bank.
The citizen applied for NOC at the head office of Punjab Government Servants Housing Foundation, Lahore, but despite the passage of 70 days and repeated contacts, the matter was put on hold under various pretexts.
In the end, the questioner was forced to complain to the PM portal, on which the allottee was given the ownership letter instead of the NOC, which was rejected outright by the bank.
When contacted by the management, he was told that there could be no NOC issue in this regard while on the other hand, the issuance of NOC is an essential component for taking my house, my Pakistan program, and plot into the custody of the bank.
The citizen has appealed to the Prime Minister of Pakistan and the Chief Minister of Punjab to bring him to justice and issue a NOC of his owned plot from the Punjab Housing Foundation so that he can build his house.
And take disciplinary action against bureaucracy obstructing PM’s New Pakistan Housing Project.
It is also important to mention here that without the approval of the loan, the applicant has to ensure the required documents within a specified time, otherwise the approved loan is canceled.
