Rain in Karachi: Arrangements for keeping livelihoods and slums should be taken care of, Chief Minister said

The Sindh Chief Minister said that due to heavy rains in Karachi, such arrangements should be made so that life could continue.

 

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah directed the commissioner to take special care of the occupants of mud houses and all the district administrations to remain active.

 

He said that KMC, DMCs and water boards in the city should also remain active and drainage of water from low lying areas should be ensured as soon as the rains end.

 

The Sindh Chief Minister said that the police should also help the district administration.
