Remittances, exports and revenues record growth in the current financial year

ISLAMABAD : Remittances, exports and revenues have increased in the current financial year, the finance ministry said in a monthly economic outlook.

Remittances have increased by 29.4% in the current financial year, the finance ministry said in a monthly economic outlook.

It was reported that exports as a whole increased by 10.3 per cent, while imports recorded an increase of 17.9 per cent from July to May this financial year.

According to the Ministry of Finance, SBP’s reserves exceeded ارب 22.96 billion. FBR revenues increased by 17.5%

Non-tax revenue declined by 6.5%.

The report said that the output of major industries increased by 12.8 per cent, inflation stood at 10.9 per cent on a monthly basis and 8.8 per cent on an annual basis.
