ISLAMABAD : Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi returned home from the United States, saying that he had succeeded in the purpose for which the Prime Minister had sent him.
On his return from the US, Shah Mehmood Qureshi while talking to media at the airport said that basic human rights are being denied in Kashmir and Palestine. Today, Palestinians and Kashmiris are worried about demographic changes. Until the Kashmir issue is resolved, there will be no peace in the subcontinent.
The Security Council must make progress on the Kashmir and Palestine issues. I have in mind a blueprint for a solution to Kashmir which I will present to the leadership. If the leadership approves, I will implement it.
The Foreign Minister said that the purpose for which the Prime Minister sent me was successful, our first goal was to establish a ceasefire in Palestine, which happened. The credit for this success goes to Prime Minister Imran Khan. If the Prime Minister had not given me a mission, all this would not have been possible.
