Shahbaz Sharif’s name in ECL summary is illegal, PML-N

RAWALPINDI : PML-N has declared the summary of Interior Ministry’s inclusion of Shahbaz Sharif’s name in ECL as illegal.

PML-N spokesperson Maryam Aurangzeb told a press conference at her residence in Rawalpindi that the matter was not with Shahbaz Sharif but with the court and the government. If this tradition continues, no one will trust the courts.

She said that Shahbaz Sharif was allowed to travel by Lahore High Court on May 7. The order clearly stated that Shahbaz Sharif did not commit any corruption using his powers. After these two decisions, the state of mind of the government became doubtful. They used to wave paper, now they have nothing to say.

She said that the government was not worried about 17% inflation in Ramadan. Fawad Chaudhry and Shehzad Akbar were worried about how to call officers to their offices during the holidays. An illegal Eid holiday summary was issued by the Interior Ministry. The NAB, FIA, Immigration, Interior Ministry and Cabinet Division were opened and contempt of court was comm itted.
