Shawwal Moon Sighted, Eid ul Fitr To Be Celebrated Today Across Country

ISLAMABAD : The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee announced that the Shawwal moon has been sighted and Eidul Fitr will be celebrated on Thursday (today).

This was announced by Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Chairman Maulana Abdul Khabeer on Wednesday.

He said that witnesses were received from Balochistan, Azad Kashmir and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

“Zonal committees meet across the country and the decision was made on the basis of the witnesses received from different areas,” he said.
