The decision of the Sindh government to open the bazaar today and tomorrow will be taken down from Sunday

KARACHI : Business will also be open in Sindh on Friday and Saturday, while a complete lockdown in the province will take effect on Sunday. In Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, public transport was allowed to run with 50% capacity on Saturdays and Sundays. Bazaar will not be closed on moon night, henna, bangles and clothes stalls.

Citizens of Sindh including Karachi got one day discount in lockdown. The Sindh government also allowed Eid shopping on Saturday. The lockdown in the province will start from Sunday.

In Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, public transport was allowed to run on Saturdays and Sundays during the lockdown for foreigners on Eid. In Punjab, on May 8, 9, 15 and 16, public transport will run with 50% rides.

SOPs were also prepared for Eid and Chand Rat in Punjab. On the moonlit night, there will be a complete ban on all stalls selling bazaars, henna, bangles and clothes. Only takeaways from restaurants will be allowed. Grocery stores, sweets and bakeries, meat shops, flour mills, fruit and vegetable shops will be open from 9 am to 6 pm.

Tourist places in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will also remain completely closed during the lockdown. Cargo traffic and business shipments will remain open. In Balochistan, bazaar, jewelery, henna and clothing shops will also remain closed on moon night. All inter-provincial and intra-city public transport will remain closed.
