LAHORE : According to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the departure of a contingent of players, officials and support staff from Pakistan for the remaining matches of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) has been delayed by one day.
According to the PCB, the delay was due to non-receipt of visas by some passengers. A 233-member contingent from Pakistan comprising players, team support staff, coaches, broadcast staff and match officials was scheduled to depart Abu Dhabi from Lahore and Karachi on Wednesday morning on two different chartered flights for the remaining PSL matches scheduled in Abu Dhabi. But now the flight has been postponed.
The flights will now depart on Thursday morning, with players and officials staying in isolation for a day at the hotel.
