Pakistani Ambassador to Afghanistan Mansoor Ahmad Khan has said that the evacuation of Pakistanis from Afghanistan has been completed, last week 400 Pakistanis were sent back home safely.
Talking to Dunya News program “Dunya with Kamran Khan”, he said that at present 20 to 30 Pakistanis are working in Afghanistan, we are also helping foreigners in evacuation.
The Pakistani ambassador said that the Taliban were holding meetings to form a government. The Taliban want the withdrawal of foreign troops by August 31. The Taliban will announce a new government after the withdrawal of foreign troops.
He said that Pakistan played a facilitating role in the Afghan peace process. What will be the government in Afghanistan, we have no action in it. Pakistan only wants peace in Afghanistan.
