The price of LPG increased by Rs. 6 to Rs. 155 per kg

KARACHI : The price of LPG across the country has gone up by Rs 6 to Rs 155 per kg.
The price of LPG was increased for the third time in four days. The price per kg increased further by Rs 6 to Rs 155 per kg, the domestic cylinder increased by Rs 72 to Rs 1829 while the commercial cylinder increased by Rs 276 to Rs 7037.
According to Irfan Khokhar, Chairman, LPG Industry Association, the monthly demand for LPG is 160,000 tonnes while the supply is 100,000 tonnes. On the other hand, due to non-determination of regulatory duty by the government, imports are becoming more expensive.
He demanded that the government immediately end the LPG policy 2021. Irfan Khokhar further said that if the government did not accept the demand, a nationwide strike would be called on J une 30.
