Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that protection of common man is the first priority of the government, the results of administrative measures should be made public so that the people get relief.

Imran Khan directed that detailed planning should be done keeping in view the future needs of sugar and wheat.

The Prime Minister chaired a meeting to review the demand and prices of essential commodities, in which the Prime Minister was briefed on the prices of edible oil.

It was informed in the briefing that the issues with the stakeholders are in the final stages for the reduction of edible oil prices. The negotiations are expected to reduce the edible oil prices by Rs 10 to 15 per kg.
