The reason for resigning from the Interior Ministry was Imran Khan, Chaudhry Nisar Ali
Former Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has given his reasons for resigning from the Interior Ministry.
Speaking on a private TV program, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said that the reason for his resignation was Imran Khan because I wanted Imran Khan not to be allowed to go beyond Aabpara but the then Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif asked Imran Khan He allowed the red zone to come and he resigned.
Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said that he had ordered Rangers, FC and police to take action against the sit-ins of Imran Khan and Tahir-ul-Qadri while he did not want Imran Khan and Tahir-ul-Qadri to come an inch ahead of Aabpara.
According to Chaudhry Nisar, the then Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif allowed the protesters to enter the red zone against the will of the Home Minister, on which he resigned.
It should be noted that Chaudhry Nisar had parted ways with the PML-N after a 34-year friendship before the 2018 elections. Before leaving the party, he had openly expressed his displeasure over the decisions of the Sharif brothers. He was last seen attending the funeral of Begum Kulsoom Nawaz.
Differences between Chaudhry Nisar and the Sharif brothers came to the fore when the former minister said he would not beg the PML-N parliamentary committee for an election ticket.
He also criticized the PML-N for becoming a “family party”, saying “I never wanted to leave the party but it is difficult to stay in the party now.”
Later, Chaudhry Nisar had contested the elections as an independent candidate in 2018 and had won a seat in the Punjab Assembly.
