He expressed these views while talking to media after attending the main procession of 9th Muharram in Mumtazabad.

The Federal Foreign Minister said that the eyes of the whole world are now on Afghanistan. The current situation is the opposite of the propaganda made by the Ashraf Ghani government against the Taliban. There were fears that the Taliban would ban girls’ education, but that did not happen. Earlier it was thought that the blood would be bad but it did not happen. A general amnesty has been announced by the Taliban. Businesses and offices are opening. The Taliban have announced that they do not want any revenge. It is a welcome and satisfying thing that all the operations that have taken place so far have been peaceful.

He said that the world was in touch with Pakistan and was looking at it as a responsible country. I spoke with the foreign ministers of China, the United States and the United Kingdom. China sets priorities.

Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that he would visit Uzbekistan, Iran, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan after Ashura on the instructions of Prime Minister Imran Khan. Neighboring countries will jointly review the situation, take each other into confidence and consult on a peaceful and lasting solution to the Afghan problem. We want the consultation to be followed by a setup that is acceptable to the world.

Replying to a question on not giving Pakistan a chance to address the Security Council, he said that it would have been better if Pakistan had been heard in the meeting. India showed narrow-mindedness.

Responding to a question on Afghan refugees, he said that Pakistan was currently hosting 3 million Afghan refugees. And in the current situation, Pakistan has a complete plan for Afghan refugees. There is no pressure on us at Chaman Torkham border.

Replying to a question regarding evacuation at Kabul Airport, he said that people wanted evacuation at Kabul Airport and Pakistan played its role. The Taliban have announced a general amnesty. There is no need to evacuate now. Everyone’s life and property should be protected.
