ISLAMABAD : Federal Minister Fawad Chaudhry says that if the economy is going up, then why is the opposition calling for protest?
Federal Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry once again targeted the opposition. He said that the PPP and PML-N had suffered economic hardships as a result of the economic woes.
Fawad Chaudhry also mentioned the government’s achievements in his Twitter message. After a long wait, the positive results of economic policies have begun to come. For the first time in the history of the country, more than Rs 4,000 billion was collected in taxes. Overseas Pakistanis have played a key role in this effort to get the economy back on its feet. This year saw historic production of wheat, rice, sugarcane and maize. The stock market set a new record on May 27 with the sale of 2.21 billion shares. The question is when the economy is going up and the condition of the common man is changing. Why is the opposition calling for protests at such a time? Who will benefit from such politics?
In a statement, Firdous Ashiq Awan said that for the first time in the history of the country, the PTI government set a new record by collecting more than Rs 4,000 billion in revenue in the financial year. The record revenue collection is a reflection of the nation’s strong confidence in the Prime Minister and the right direction of the government’s economic policies.
Firdous Ashiq Awan also slammed the political opponents and said that the opposition, especially the corrupt PDM mob, was using clever tactics in power. Corrupt PDM’s high-handed tactics, baseless allegations are tantamount to untimely rhetoric and obstruction of progress.
