Taliban of using children and the elderly as human shields :Amrullah Saleh

Afghan leader Amrullah Saleh has accused the Taliban of using children and the elderly as human shields in the Andarab Valley.

In a statement, Afghan leader Amrullah Saleh said the Taliban had laid siege to Afghanistan’s Andarab Valley.

He says the situation is dire in the Andarab Valley, where food and fuel are in short supply.

Amrullah Saleh also says that women and children are hiding in the mountains in the Andarab Valley.

The British media say that the Taliban has not yet responded to Amrullah Saleh’s statement.
