ISLAMABAD : The NCOC has issued guidelines stating that it is necessary to wear face masks in Eid venues, two to three prayers should be offered in one place to keep the rush low, and the Eid sermon should be kept very short.

According to details, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of Federal Minister for Planning and National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) Asad Umar in which guidelines regarding Eid-ul-Fitr were reviewed. From May 8 to 16, the strategy to restrict the movement of citizens was reviewed. He directed to intensify efforts at the national level for the implementation of SOPs to control the epidemic.

The nation was urged to stand together and stand firm for the implementation of SOPs. The meeting also approved SOPs regarding Eid-ul-Fitr

The guidelines issued by the NCOC state that Eid prayers should be held in an open space, all protocols of Corona should be observed during Eid prayers, windows and doors of mosques should be kept open, a place to keep the rush low. Two to three prayers should be offered, the Eid sermon should be kept very short, and sick people, the elderly and children under the age of 15 should not be allowed to come to the Eid Gah.

According to the guidelines of NCOC, it is necessary to wear face masks in Eid Gahs. Numerous entrances and exits of Eid Gahs should be kept. Go, bring the prayer place from home for Eid prayers.
