Shahbaz Sharif meets Fazlur Rehman, consultation on PDM summit

ISLAMABAD – Opposition leader Mian Shahbaz Sharif called on PDM chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman and discussed strategies for the PDM summit.
The two leaders discussed issues related to the anti-government movement and the forthcoming budget meeting, the attitudes of the PPP and the ANP and the future course of action.
Talking to media, PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif said, “Today was an opportunity to meet. A few days ago, I came to congratulate Hazrat on his recovery.” Hazrat will preside over the PDM meeting tomorrow. All the member parties will be present in the PDM meeting tomorrow. All decisions will be taken in consultation.
He said that no single party has the right to bring or leave anyone, decisions are taken in this forum through consultation, after consultation the president announces these decisions, I have no personal opinion regarding the return of PPP ۔
“As the Leader of the Opposition, it is my duty to formulate a joint strategy in Parliament. It is our duty to expose the failure and negligence of the government on all fronts,” he said. PDM chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman said, “I am grateful to Shahbaz Sharif for his visit. Shahbaz Sharif, as he grows up, always shows compassion.” He said that it is a matter of democratic principles of the organization, when the opinion of 9 parties is one thing and one party is giving another opinion, then it should respect the other parties.
He further said that diseases come to Pakistan but there is no cure, it is the misfortune of the nation that incompetent rulers have been imposed. Institutions are being destroyed.
