Chairman Federal Development Agency (CDA) inspected the firefighting operations in Margalla National Parks

ISLAMABAD – The Chairman Federal Development Agency (CDA) inspected the firefighting operations in Margalla National Parks. The DG Environment, ADCG and Director Environment were also present on the occasion.

 

According to details, the Chairman Federal Development Agency (CDA) inspected the fire control and relief activities on Margalla Hills. He commended the rescue teams for their timely response to the fire, saying that protecting the natural environment was the top priority.

 

He issued special instructions to the CDA’s Environment Department to monitor the area round the clock and to prevent any fires due to hot weather. He said that police, water bowsers and all fire fighting equipment should be present in the area to take immediate action in case of re-fire.

 

CDA Chairman urged the local population to be involved in preventing such accidents. Emphasis on getting and timely information about places.
