Balochistan government announces judicial inquiry into Usman Kakar’s death

QUETTA :  The Balochistan government has announced a judicial inquiry into the death of former Senator Usman Kakar, the leader of Pakhtunkhwamap.

 

He wrote a letter to form an investigation team headed by two judges of Balochistan High Court. The letter was written by the Balochistan Home Department to the Registrar of the High Court.

 

Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal said that all possible cooperation would be provided for a transparent and efficient investigation.

According to the family, Usman Kakar had suffered a brain hemorrhage and was undergoing treatment at a hospital in Karachi.

 

Usman Khan Kakar was 59 years old, he was a senator from 2015 to 2021, his political career spanned forty years. The party’s student body has been associated with the PSO since its student days.
