President Arif Alvi sought performance reports from ministries and divisions

ISLAMABAD : President Arif Alvi has called for performance reports from all ministries and divisions.

 

According to details, President Alvi has issued a presidential order to request performance reports from ministries and divisions. According to the presidential order, all ministries and divisions should submit annual performance reports in the Presidency after Eid-ul-Adha.

 

Sources said that the performance report of all the ministries will be reviewed by the President, which projects have been completed so far and those under construction will be reviewed.

 

According to sources, a performance report has been sought from the government for President Alvi’s joint address to the parliament. The contents of the president’s address will be compiled in the light of the government’s achievements and future strategy.

 

Dr. Arif Alvi will address a joint meeting after Eid on the performance of the government, with which the fourth parliamentary year of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) will begin.

 

Sources said that the debate on the President’s address in the National Assembly has not been concluded yet. Arif Alvi had started the third parliamentary year by addressing a joint sitting on August 20, 2020. Foreign and Home Affairs issues will also be a part of the President’s address. The President will discuss relations with neighboring countries and the latest situation in Kashmir in his address. After Eid, the National Assembly Secretariat will also make arrangements for a joint meeting.
