National Assembly passes unanimous resolution against temple attack

ISLAMABAD : The National Assembly passed a unanimous resolution against the temple attack.

 

The National Assembly has passed a unanimous resolution against the attack on the temple at Rahim Yar Khan. The resolution passed said that the Aiwan-e-Mandir condemned the incident. The House reiterates that the entire nation is with the minorities on the temple incident.

 

Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Ali Muhammad Khan said that the Prime Minister has taken stern notice of the incident of desecration of the temple. The whole country and the government express sympathy to the Hindu community. The white color in the flag of Pakistan represents minorities.

 

Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry in his video statement said that the sanctity of both colors in the flag of Pakistan is important for us. The perpetrators of the temple attack should be punished.

 

Fawad Chaudhry further said that the future of Pakistan belongs to a developing country and he was happy that the Prime Minister and Chief Justice of Pakistan took notice of the attack on the temple.
