There is no secret in the electronic voting machine, Shibli Faraz

ISLAMABAD : Science and Technology Minister Shibli Faraz says there is nothing secret about the electronic voting machine. All aspects were taken into consideration in the preparation.

An in-camera presentation on the electronic voting machine was held under the chairmanship of the Chief Election Commissioner. The meeting was attended by members and secretaries of the Election Commission. A technical team of the Ministry of Science and Technology briefed the Election Commission on EVM.

A video based on the features of the electronic voting machine developed by the Ministry of Science and Technology was shown. Ministry of Science and Technology Election Commission was given a practical presentation.

Federal Minister for Science and Technology Shibli Faraz while talking to media said that free fair and no dispute was agreed with the Election Commission. The 2023 elections will be held using technology. If necessary, we will continue to hold more meetings with the Election Commission.

He said that the Prime Minister had said that even if the election came against us, the election should be held through electronic voting.

Senator Shibli Faraz further said that we want to help the Election Commission in holding fair and free elections. Election Commission officials asked about 75 questions. There was no question we didn’t have the answer to.
