Dutch Foreign Minister resigns over failure to withdraw from Afghanistan
Dutch Foreign Minister Sigurd Cock has resigned over a failed withdrawal strategy from Afghanistan.
According to the news agency, the MPs had criticized the failed strategy of Sigrid Cock. The Dutch army was supposed to evacuate 2,100 civilians from Afghanistan, but a poor strategy has been adopted to evacuate Dutch citizens.
Many people remained in Afghanistan due to non-arrival at the airport. Among those left behind were Dutch military facilitators.
