Free first aid kits distributed to motorway users by motorway police

ISLAMABAD : National Highways and Motorways Police distributed free first aid kits among motorway users, at a function held at Motorway Toll Plaza M-1,in which DIG Motorway Ashfaq Ahmed, Sector Commander SP Shah Asad and other officers were present on the occasion.DIG Motorway Ashfaq Ahmed said that this campaign is being carried out on the special instructions of Inspector General of Motorway Police Dr. Syed Kaleem Imam, the main purpose of which is to create awareness among the people.

 

He said that people should keep first aid kits in their vehicles so that immediate help can be obtained in case of emergency.

The presence of first aid box in the vehicle can not only save lives but also be useful in other issues. The, medicines in the first aid kit, have been provided keeping in view the problems encountered during the journey.
