Successful test of Pakistan’s Ghaznavi ballistic missile

RAWALPINDI : Pakistan successfully tests Ghaznavi ballistic missile

 

According to DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar, Pakistan has successfully tested the Ghaznavi surface-to-surface ballistic missile. The purpose of the experiment was to test the operational readiness of the Army Strategic Forces Command and the technical parameters of the missile weapon system. Lieutenant General Muhammad Ali, Commander, Army Strategic Forces Command, witnessed the successful experiment.

 

Senior officers of Strategic Plans Divisions and Army Strategic Forces Command, scientists, engineers and other senior officials were also present on the occasion. The ASFC Commander commended the skills and abilities of the field troops on the successful experience. The President, the Prime Minister and the military leadership have also congratulated the officers and men, soldiers, scientists and engineers of the Army Strategic Forces Command on the successful experiment.

 

The ground-to-ground Ghaznavi missile with a single-stage solid fuel rocket motor can successfully hit its target up to 320 km.
