Farrukh Habib: The Prime Minister’s steps to increase exports are beginning to yield positive results

Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Farrukh Habib said that the Prime Minister’s measures to increase Pakistan’s exports were beginning to yield positive results, with exports increasing by 19.7% to  2.3 billion in July 2021.

 

In his statement, Farrukh Habib said that increase in exports also leads to increase in foreign exchange in Pakistan.

 

Farrukh Habib said that when the government was formed, the textile industry was locked due to wrong policies of PML-N, power looms were being sold at scrap prices, today the textile industry is on the rise.

 

The Minister of State said that textile exports in July 2021 stood at 49 1.49 billion, which is 17% more than last year.
