Educational activities resumed in Afghanistan after Taliban control

After the Taliban took control of Afghanistan, educational activities in universities resumed.

In some classes, a veil or board has been put up between boys and girls, the pictures of which have gone viral on social media.

The Taliban spokesman did not comment on the segregation of students in educational institutions.

A senior Taliban leader said curtains or boards between boys and girls were acceptable in the classroom.

“Afghanistan currently has limited resources and a shortage of manpower, so this is the best way to teach,” he said.

It was not immediately clear if the orders were issued by the Taliban.
